The
puller 221 589 02 33 00 is required for all models 216, 221. Do not use extractor fork for model 221 with maximum protection, code Z07
Use extractor fork 221 589 03 33 00 for model 221 with maximum protection, code Z07
- Unscrew self-locking nut from supporting joint of spring control arm (17).
Screw the thrust washer (044a) onto the carrying joint.
- Press spring control arm (17) out of steering knuckle (5) by turning spindle (arrow).
Installation:
Replace self-locking nut.
When pressing out, do not damage the rubber boot of the supporting ball joint, otherwise the spring control arm must be replaced.
