Puller 221 589 02 33 00 is required for all models.
Puller fork 221 589 03 33 00 only required for model 221 with maximum protection, code Z07
- Unscrew self-locking nut from radius rod coupling.
Screw thrust washer (044a) onto the radius rod coupling.
- Press torque strut (18) out of steering knuckle (5) by turning spindle (arrow).
Installation:
Replace self-locking nut.
When pressing out, do not damage the rubber boot of the torque strut joint, otherwise the torque strut must be replaced.
