	Remove/install
	Notes on self-locking nuts and bolts		AH00.00-N-0001-01A
1	Attach engine hoist to engine lifting eyes
2	Remove tensioning strap for engine-transmission unit
3	Secure front axle carrier on portable lifting platform with tensioning strap against slipping and falling down
4	Lift engine with a suitable lifting device and engine hoist	Only raise far enough for chain on engine hoist to be lightly tensioned.
5	Remove bolt (1) of the retaining clamp (1a) from rack-and-pinion steering (4)	Model 216	*BA46.30-P-1012-01Q

6	Remove bolt (2) and remove high pressure expansion hose (3)	Installation: Replace seals.

8	Lift off engine / transmission unit from front axle carrier	Ensure when lifting that engine oil pan is not damaged. Installation: Ensure that engine mount (5a) is seated correctly in catches on the front axle carrier.
9	Install in the reverse order
