Retrofit iPod wiring harness - AZ82.60-P-0001-02SX

Remove glove compartment lamp (E13/1) from glove compartment (4).

Remove damping material (8) in the area (A) from rear of glove compartment (4).
Check whether no other components or wiring harnesses are installed in area (A) on rear of glove compartment (4).
Drill hole in area (A).

Drill hole (C) with Ø = 20 mm into glove compartment (4) as per the dimensioning.
Ensure that no other components are damaged when drilling hole (C).

Route interface coupling (5) of iPod wiring harness (1) through drilled hole in glove compartment (4) into COMAND installation opening.
Seal hole with grommet (6).
Reinstall glove compartment lamp (E13/1) in glove compartment (4).
The iPod coupling (2) is later connected to the iPod. The interface connector (5) can be connected to the iPod interface later.
