Retrofit iPod interface - AZ82.60-P-0001-03SXA

  1. Align two Velcro strips (3) centrally to each other and press together.
  2. Detach protective foil on one side and stick Velcro strips (3), as shown, onto iPod interface (1).
  3. Stick felt tape (2) onto iPod interface (1), as shown.
  4. Clean bonding surfaces on installation frame (4) for COMAND controller unit.

    IMPORTANT The bonding surfaces must be dry and free of grease and dust.

  5. Detach protective foils for Velcro strips on iPod interface (1).
  6. Position iPod interface (1) as far back as possible from above onto the installation frame (4) and press firmly on.

    NOTES Make sure that the wiring harnesses routed into the working area are not kinked or crushed.

  7. Route wiring harness for iPod interface (5) and wiring harness for iPod (6), as shown, behind the installation frame (4) and then fasten in place.
