	Remove/install
	Risk of injury  caused by fingers being jammed or pinched  when removing, installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lid/rear-end door or sliding roof.	When moving components, ensure that no body parts or limbs are within the operating range of moving parts.	AS00.00-Z-0011-01A
1	Open engine hood (1)		AR88.40-P-1000RT
2	Undo screws (2) and remove engine hood catch (3) upwards	Left and right sides of the vehicle. If necessary, route the cable in the area of the coupling to the left side of the vehicle.

3	Unclip outer sleeve mounting (4) on the engine hood catch (3) downwards and unhook the engine hood cable (5)	Left and right sides of the vehicle.
4.1	Separate electrical connector (4)	Left side of vehicle only.
5	Install in the reverse order
