Remove/install air suspension control unit - AR32.22-P-6000RT

MODEL 251 with CODE (489) Airmatic (air suspension with level adjustment and adaptive damping system ADS)

	Remove/install
	Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge	All models	AH54.00-P-0001-01A
1	Read out coding of AIRmatic with ADS control unit (N51) by means of STAR DIAGNOSIS diagnosis system	Only when replacing the AIRmatic with ADS control unit (N51) and if it can still be read out with the STAR DIAGNOSIS diagnosis system.
	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory		AD00.00-P-2000-04A
2	Remove front floor covering	Right side of vehicle	AR68.20-P-2070RT
3	Remove impact absorber (1)
4	Unscrew nuts (2, 4) and remove clips (3)	Do not mix up nuts (2) and nuts (4). Pay attention to correct seat of clips (3)
5	Remove intermediate bottom (5)
6	Separate electrical connectors (6)
7	Undo nuts (7) and remove the AIRmatic with ADS control unit (N51)
8	Install in the reverse order
9	Code AIRmatic with ADS control unit (N51) using STAR DIAGNOSIS diagnosis system	Only when installing a new AIRmatic with ADS control unit (N51).
	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory		AD00.00-P-2000-04A
10	Check vehicle level at front and rear axle, adjust it and save normal level  in the AIRmatic with ADS control unit (N51)	Only when installing a new AIRmatic with ADS control unit (N51).
11	Perform basic programming		AR00.19-P-0200RT
