Wear safety glasses or face mask and cotton gloves. Only trigger squibs when they have been correctly mounted for this purpose. Avoid contact with exiting gases, flames and hot components. Do not inhale or ingest gases and residues or come into contact with them.

Potential risks 

Risk of death 

When triggering squibs that are not mounted on an extinguishing agent tank intended for this purpose or in a suitable holding device, they could fly around like projectiles and cause serious, life-threatening or fatal injuries.

Risk of injury 

When triggering squibs:

Risk of poisoning 

When squibs are triggered, gases and residues are produced which when inhaled or swallowed can cause symptom of poisoning such as coughing, headaches, dizziness and nausea.

Fire hazard 

There is the risk of fire caused by the hot gases and flames produced when triggering squibs near flammable materials.
