Exemplified on model 164, with electrically adjustable driver seat, steering column and outside mirrors with memory, code 275 

	Remove/install
1	Lower head restraint
2	Move steering wheel up
3	Adjust front seat (1) to front
4	Unclip belt end fitting cover (2)	Long wedge	Fig 2
5	Remove screw (3)		*BA91.40-P-1001-01N
6	Remove bolts (4)	Replace bolts (4), align seat rails.
			*BA91.10-P-1002-01N
7	Position front seat (1) to rear
8	Remove screws (5)	Replace bolts (5), align seat rails.
			*BA91.10-P-1002-01N
9	Lift front seat at front (1)
10	Remove front runner covers (6)
11	Disconnect electrical connector (7, 8) from left front seat contacting strip (X55/3) or right front seat contacting strip (X55/4)
12	Disconnect electrical connector (9, 10) from driver front seat adjustment control unit with memory (N32/1) or front passenger front seat adjustment control unit with memory (N32/2)	Only in vehicles with electrically adjustable driver seat, steering column and outside mirrors with memory, code 275.
13	Detach pneumatic line (11)	Only in vehicles with left multicontour seat, code 404 or vehicles with right multicontour seat, code 405.
14	Remove cable ties (12)	Use new cable tie (12).
15	Lift front seat at rear (1)
16	Remove rear runner covers (13)
17	Lift out front seat (1)	Use helper
18	Install in the reverse order
19	Calibrate left front, right front, left rear and right rear WSS (Weight Sensing System) sensors with STAR DIAGNOSIS system	Only front seat at passenger side in vehicles with USA version, code 494.
