	Remove/install
	Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge	All models	AH54.00-P-0001-01A
1	Switch off ignition and remove the transmitter key from the EIS [EZS] control unit	On vehicles with Keyless Go, code 889: Press Keyless Go start/stop button repeatedly until the ignition is switched off. Remove transmitter key from vehicle and store it in a location beyond its transmission range (at least 2 m).
2	Remove rain/light sensor front cover section (1) toward front (arrow)
3	Disconnect electric connector (2)
4	Slide locks (3) downward on both sides of rain/light sensor (B38/2) and remove rain/light sensor (B38/2)	The rain/light sensor lens is glued to the windshield and must not be removed, otherwise the lens will be damaged.
5	Install in the reverse order
6	Code adaptation of rain sensor and light sensor amplification factor and select type of windshield	STAR DIAGNOSIS system	*WH58.30-Z-1048-13A
	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory		AD00.00-P-2000-04A
