Removing and installing Parktronic system (PTS) warning display in instrument panel - AR54.65-P-0003RT

MODELS 251 with CODE (220) Parktronic system (PTS)

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Switch off ignition and remove the transmitter key from the EIS [EZS] control unit IMPORTANT On vehicles with Keyless Go, code 889:
Press keyless go start/stop button repeatedly until ignition is switched off Remove transmitter key from vehicle and store it in a location beyond its transmission range (at least 2 m).
 
2 Lift the left air guiding nozzle (4a) or right air guiding nozzle (4b) on the vehicle center side at the plastic insert (3) using a long wedge slightly, unlatch left or right air conducting nozzle outwards (arrows) and remove upwards INSTALLATION IMPORTANT The lugs on the bottom sides of the air conducting nozzles must latch in the bores (5) on the plastic insert (3).

3 Using a suitable tool, move into the bores (5), press the lugs (6) outwards and pull the plastic insert (3) upwards out of the instrument panel (1) NOTES Do not press the lugs outwards too hard otherwise they may break off.  
4 Unlock and detach plug (2) at rear of the driver-side instrument panel PTS warning indicator (A44/1)    
5 Unclip and remove the driver-side instrument panel PTS warning indicator (A44/1) from the plastic insert (3)    
6 Install in the reverse order
