Retrofit wiring harness. - AZ82.70-P-0001-04GZB

  1. Connect black, slanted plug (29) from DVD player wiring harness (30) to DVD player (18).
  2. Connect modules (26, 27) to DVD player brackets (18) with one of the provided sheet metal screws each.

  3. Route white, 3-pin DVD player wiring harness connector (30) between body panels (see arrow) into spare tire well, as per picture.

  4. Lift paneling in spare tire well along right vehicle longitudinal member high enough that the DVD player wiring harness (30) can be routed.
  5. Fasten DVD player wiring harness (30) in spare tire well with felt tape (34).
  6. Continue to route DVD player wiring harness (30) along vehicle's own wiring harness (35) to load compartment fuse and relay box (F4) and fasten with tie straps.

  7. Connect white connector (14) from retrofitted accessory wiring harness to white connector (28) on DVD player wiring harness (30).
  8. Tie back excess on DVD player wiring harness (30) on present lines with tie strap.
  9. Remove anchoring lug from floor covering (see arrow).
  10. Remove rear cover above left seat rail for right front seat (see magnified drawing).
  11. Route screen wiring harness (32) between floor covering and floor panel to DVD player (18) as shown in figure.
  12. Connect black connector (33) from screen wiring harness (32) to DVD player (18).

    IMPORTANT Plug black connector (33) into connector for "Monitor 1" or "Monitor 2".

  13. Tie back excessive monitor wiring harness (32) with tie straps so that it does not chafe or make noises.
