	Remove/install
1	Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key from EIS [EZS] control unit	On vehicles with Keyless Go, code 889: Press Keyless Go start/stop button repeatedly until ignition is switched off. Remove transmitter key from vehicle and store it in a location beyond its transmission range (at least 2 m).
2	Unlatch instrument panel center section (1) at bottom edge (see arrows A) and pull forward out of instrument panel	Protect trim parts of instrument panel and center console from scratches.
3	Unscrew bolt (2)	Number of bolts (2) depends on equipment. Do not disconnect AAC control and operating unit (N22), upper control panel control unit (N72/1) and lower control panel control unit (N72) electrically.
4	Remove AAC control and operating unit (N22), upper control panel control unit (N72/1) and lower control panel control unit (N72) from instrument panel center section	Installation:  Insert upper control panel control unit before AAC control and operating unit is installed.
5	Install in the reverse order
