Remove/install instrument panel center section - AR68.10-P-1030GZ

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install  
1 Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key from EIS [EZS] control unit IMPORTANT On vehicles with Keyless Go, code 889: Press Keyless Go start/stop button repeatedly until ignition is switched off. Remove transmitter key from vehicle and store it in a location beyond its transmission range (at least 2 m).
2 Unlatch instrument panel center section (1) at bottom edge (see arrows A) and pull forward out of instrument panel IMPORTANT Protect trim parts of instrument panel and center console from scratches.
3 Unscrew bolt (2) IMPORTANT Number of bolts (2) depends on equipment.
IMPORTANT Do not disconnect AAC control and operating unit (N22), upper control panel control unit (N72/1) and lower control panel control unit (N72) electrically.
4 Remove AAC control and operating unit (N22), upper control panel control unit (N72/1) and lower control panel control unit (N72) from instrument panel center section IMPORTANTInstallation:  Insert upper control panel control unit before AAC control and operating unit is installed.
5 Install in the reverse order
