Type 164.8 

1. Remove bracket (3).

2. Cut cutout (22) for DVD player out of floor covering.

   Use the cutout (22) present in the body as a template. Ensure that cuts are straight and that the cutout (22) in the floor covering is the same size as the cutout in the body.

3. Fit sheet metal nuts (20) to holes above cutout (see arrows).

4. Fasten brackets (17) on left and right of DVD player (18) with two screws (19).

   The brackets for the left and right sides are the same. Do not yet tighten screws (19).

5. Affix self-adhesive Velcro strip (26) to the lugs (27) of the bracket (17) as shown in the picture.

   If there are bores in the lugs (27) of the bracket (17), do not  affix Velcro strip (26).

6. Insert the DVD player (18) into the cutout made from the footwell and fasten with two sheet metal screws (21).
7. Check whether weld nuts are attached to the body (see arrows).
8. If no weld nuts are attached, attach one sheet metal nut each on the left and right sides of the DVD player (18).

9. Fasten cross strut (23) to DVD player (18) with two self-tapping sheet metal screws (24).

10. Fasten cross strut (23) to body with two sheet metal screws (21).

    If weld nuts are already provided, the cross strut (23) must not be attached using the sheet metal screws (21), instead the two enclosed metric screws should be used.

11. Install bracket (3).

    Type 164.8 

12. Attach DVD player (18) to rear of bracket (3).
13. Insert cover (25) into cutout of floor covering, align DVD player (18) and tighten mounting screws of DVD player (18).

1. 14.1 Mount cover (25) on self-adhesive Velcro strip on bracket of DVD player (18).
