Remove/install brake pedal - AR29.10-P-4597GZ

MODEL 164 

Shown on model 164.1 with instrument panel lower section which has been removed (for better clarity)

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install    
NOTES Notes on self-locking nuts and bolts All models AH00.00-N-0001-01A
NOTES To avoid any damage to the brake booster's thrust rod do not pull, twist or forcibly push it to one side, when the brake pedal has been removed    
1 Remove cover (2)   AR68.10-P-1500GZ
2 Carefully remove the locking clamp (4) and push bolt (3) or pull it out (arrow A) IMPORTANTInstallation:  Lightly grease the bolt (3) and insert into the installation position shown.  
    Long-life grease *BR00.45-Z-1001-06A 
3 Undo nuts (5) and detach the brake pedal from the firewall and then remove IMPORTANT Do not damage the rubber boot!
IMPORTANT If the brake pedal or components of the brake pedal mounting are damaged, then the brake pedal must be replaced as a complete assembly (with bearing bracket). The pedal rubber pad can be individually replaced.
IMPORTANTInstallation:  Ensure rubber boot is correctly seated.
 
    TORQUE SPECIFICATION *BA43.10-P-1001-01G 
4 Install in the reverse order
