	Removing
	Risk of injury caused by pinching or crushing when working on springs or spring bodies that are under load	Use only approved tensioning devices; shield off hazard area if necessary. Inspect special tools for damage and proper operation (visual inspection). Wear protective gloves.	AS00.00-Z-0001-01A
	Risk of injury caused by moving parts that can pinch, crush or , in extreme cases even sever extremities.	Keep body parts and limbs well clear of moving parts.	AS00.00-Z-0009-01A
	Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.	Align vehicle between the columns of the lifting platform and position the four support plates at the lifting platform support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.	AS00.00-Z-0010-01A

	While working on the rear axle, care must be taken to ensure that the surface of aluminum components do not get any scratches, cracks and notches. Otherwise the service life of the parts will be affected
1	Raise vehicle using two-post lift		AR00.60-P-1000GZ
		Two-post lift	*WE58.40-Z-1001-05A
2	Undo nuts (2) of link rods (3) and remove link rods from stabilizer bar (1)
3	Undo bolts (5) of retaining clamps for stabilizer bar (6) and remove stabilizer bar (1)	The retaining clamps for the stabilizer bar, rubber bushing and stabilizer bar form an assembly, which cannot be disassembled any further.
4	Undo nuts (4) of link rods (3) and remove link rods from spring control arms	Only if link rods damaged.
	Checking
5	Check rubber mount of stabilizer bar for signs of damage	If necessary replace stabilizer bar.
	Install
Installation	Tighten nuts and bolts of chassis components only when vehicle is in the ready-to-drive condition.
6	Position stabilizer bar (1) on rear axle carrier and insert bolts (5)	Observe installation position of stabilizer bar. Do not yet tighten bolts (5).
7	Mount link rods (3) onto spring control arm and screw on nuts (4)	Only if link rods have to be replaced. Do not tighten the nuts (4) yet.
8	Mount link rods (3) onto stabilizer bar (1) and screw on nuts (2)	Do not tighten the nuts (2) yet.
9	Check stabilizer bar is correctly positioned	Correct if necessary.
10	Fully tighten bolts (5)		*BA32.20-P-1001-04L
11	Tighten nuts (2)		*BA32.20-P-1003-04L
12	Tighten nuts (4)	Only if link rods have to be replaced.	*BA32.20-P-1002-04L
13	Lower vehicle using two-post lift		AR00.60-P-1000GZ
