Remove/install fuel tank - AR47.10-P-4100GZ

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install    
DANGER Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the vehicle lift Align vehicle between columns of vehicle lift and position four support plates at vehicle lift support points specified by vehicle manufacturer. AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
DANGER Risk of explosion  caused by fuel igniting, risk of poisoning  caused by inhaling and swallowing fuel and risk of injury  to eyes and skin caused by contact with fuel No fire, sparks, open flames or smoking.
Only pour fuels into suitable and appropriately marked containers.
Wear protective clothing when handling fuel.

1 Drain fuel tank (1) Engine 629, 642 and engine 113, 156, 272, 273 with defective fuel pump AR47.10-P-4000GZ 
2 Detach underfloor paneling on fuel tank (1)   AR61.30-P-1001GZ
3 Remove exhaust system at flange connection   AR49.10-P-7100GZB
4 Remove propeller shaft   AR41.10-P-0050GZ
5 Remove filler neck (3) from fuel tank (1) IMPORTANT Check filler neck (3) for damage; replace if necessary.  
6 Disconnect connection of feed line (7) and return line (8) SPECIAL TOOL Stop plug Fig 2
7 Support fuel tank (1) with a transmission jack and a transmission plate    
8 Remove bolts from retaining strap mounts (11) TORQUE SPECIFICATION *BA47.10-P-1003-01J 
9 Remove bolts from mounts (12) TORQUE SPECIFICATION *BA47.10-P-1002-01J 
10 Remove nut from mount (10) TORQUE SPECIFICATION *BA47.10-P-1001-01J 
11 Lower fuel tank (1) slightly    
12 Disconnect electrical connector (9)    
13 Remove vent line (6) IMPORTANT Press connection together at pressure areas (arrows) and detach.  
14 Remove fuel tank (1) IMPORTANT Dispose of fuel tank (1) when replacing with new one.  
REFER TO FORMS Disposing fuel tanks   OS47.10-P-0001-01A 
15 Install in the reverse order    
16 Perform basic programming   AR00.19-P-0200GZ
  Checking     
DANGER Risk of accident  caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury  caused by contusions and burns from working on the vehicle as it is being started or when the engine is running Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself.
Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes.
Do not touch hot or rotating parts.

17 Test run engine and check fuel line for leak-tightness
