  1. Insert rear inner crossmember section (6) and fasten with clamping pliers COMMERCIALLY AVAILABLE TOOLS .
  2. Weld in rear crossmember inner section (areas H, I, J and L) with POLARIZATION RESISTANCE SINGLE-ROW SPOT WELD .
  3. Drill holes for SHIELDED GAS PLUG WELD in rear crossmember inner section (area K).
  4. Weld in rear crossmember inner section (area K) with SHIELDED GAS PLUG WELD .

  5. Insert D-ring section (4) and fasten with clamping pliers. COMMERCIALLY AVAILABLE TOOLS
  6. Weld in D-ring section (areas EA and N) with POLARIZATION RESISTANCE SINGLE-ROW SPOT WELD .
  7. Weld in D-ring section (area EB) with SHIELDED GAS PLUG WELD .
  8. Weld in D-ring section (area B) with SHIELDED GAS SEAM WELD .
  9. Grind continuous welds of D-ring section down flat.
  10. Clean welds.
  11. Insert lock carrier reinforcement (3) and fasten with clamping pliers COMMERCIALLY AVAILABLE TOOLS .
  12. Weld in lock carrier reinforcement (areas F and G) with POLARIZATION RESISTANCE SINGLE-ROW SPOT WELD .
  13. Clean welds.
  14. Apply primer to areas no longer accessible during further work

    IMPORTANT Do not apply primer to flanges still to be welded!

  15. Insert lock carrier (5) and fasten with clamping pliers COMMERCIALLY AVAILABLE TOOLS .
  16. Weld in lock carrier (areas O and P) with POLARIZATION RESISTANCE SINGLE-ROW SPOT WELD .
  17. Weld in lock carrier (area M) with SHIELDED GAS PLUG WELD .
  18. Clean welds.
  19. Apply primer to areas no longer accessible during further work.
  20. Insert rear outer crossmember section (2) and fasten with clamping pliers.
  21. Weld in rear crossmember outer section (areas DB, DC and DE) with POLARIZATION RESISTANCE SINGLE-ROW SPOT WELD .
  22. Clean welds.
  23. Apply primer to areas no longer accessible during further work

    IMPORTANT Do not apply primer to flanges still to be welded!
