  1. Grind connection surfaces down to bare metal in shaded areas of rear inner crossmember section (4) on both sides.
  2. Remove grinding chips using wet/dry vacuum cleaner.
  3. Coat insides of spot welding flange (except area L) with zinc dust paint.

  4. Grind connection surfaces down to bare metal in shaded areas of reinforcement (2) on both sides.
  5. Remove grinding chips using wet/dry vacuum cleaner.
  6. Coat insides of spot weld flanges with zinc dust paint.

  7. Mark separation points in areas A and B on D-ring and cut

    IMPORTANT Dimension X1 = 195 mm. Dimension X2 = 600 mm. Use top edges of both holes in D-ring as reference points Adapt to vehicle in addition

  8. Grind connection surfaces of D-ring section (3) down to bare metal in shaded areas A, B and T on one side.
  9. Grind connection surfaces in remaining shaded areas on both sides.

  10. Punch holes for SHIELDED GAS PLUG WELD in area HB.

    IMPORTANT Use dia. 7 mm hole punching pliers.COMMERCIALLY AVAILABLE TOOLS

  11. Remove grinding chips using wet/dry vacuum cleaner.
  12. Coat insides of spot welding flange (except areas A, B, HB and T) with zinc dust paint.

    IMPORTANT Area HB is only accessible for MIG welding when installing.

  13. Grind connection surfaces of lock carrier reinforcement (6) down to bare metal in shaded areas on both sides.
  14. Remove grinding chips using wet/dry vacuum cleaner.
  15. Coat insides of spot weld flanges with zinc dust paint.

  16. Grind connection surfaces down to bare metal in shaded areas of lock carrier (5) on both sides.
  17. Punch holes in area T for SHIELDED GAS PLUG WELD .

    IMPORTANT Use dia. 7 mm hole punching pliers. COMMERCIALLY AVAILABLE TOOLS

  18. Remove grinding chips using wet/dry vacuum cleaner.
  19. Coat insides of spot welding flange (except area T) with zinc dust paint.

  20. Grind connection surfaces down to bare metal in shaded areas of rear outer crossmember section (8) on both sides.
  21. Remove grinding chips using wet/dry vacuum cleaner.
  22. Coat insides of spot weld flanges with zinc dust paint.

  23. Grind connection surfaces down to bare metal in shaded areas of side trunk floor (9) on both sides
  24. Remove grinding chips using wet/dry vacuum cleaner.
  25. Coat insides of spot welding flange (except area QB) with zinc dust paint.

  26. Grind connection surfaces of rear wheelhouse extension (10) down to bare metal in shaded areas on both sides.
  27. Remove grinding chips using wet/dry vacuum cleaner.
  28. Coat insides of spot weld flanges with zinc dust paint.
