  1. Route brown line (br) from accessory wiring harness (13) as shown in picture and connect to ground, right spare tire well (W7/7).
  2. Fasten brown line (br) to spare tire well with felt tape (15) and to vehicle's own wiring harness (16) with cable tie.

    IMPORTANT Ensure that the brown line (br) does not touch against the panel edge (see arrow).

    Up to model year 2007, code 807 

  1. 3.1 Disconnect connector (P4, P5) from load compartment fuse and relay box (F4).

  2. 3.2 Disconnect connector (P1, P4) from load compartment fuse and relay box (F4).

    Up to model year 2007, code 807 

  3. 4.1 Insert red  line (rt) into slot 12 of connector P4 and red-black  line (rt/sw) into slot 13 of connector P5.

    IMPORTANT Make sure that they engage audibly.

    IMPORTANT If slot 13 of connector P5 is already occupied, the red/black line (rt/sw) from the accessories wiring harness (13) must be inserted in slot 4 of connector P4. In this case, fuse 43 (F4f43) in the load compartment fuse and relay box (F4) must also be fitted with a 10 A fuse (if not yet provided).

    As of model year 2007, code 807 

  4. 4.2 Insert red  line (rt) into slot 3 of connector P1 and red-black  line (rt/sw) into slot 4 of connector P4.

    IMPORTANT Make sure that they engage audibly.

  5. Connect removed connector to load compartment fuse and relay box (F4).

    IMPORTANT A white, 3-pin accessory connector (14) will be connected to the DVD player wiring harness later on. The second white, 3-pin accessory connector (14) is required for retrofitting further accessories.

  6. 6 Fit fuse 47 (F4f47) in the load compartment fuse and relay box (F4) with a 10 A fuse (if not yet occupied).
  7. 7 Assign a 5 A fuse to fuse 56 (F4f56) in the load compartment fuse and relay box (F4) (if not yet occupied).
