3	Unhook shift rod (8) from below at intermediate lever (3)	Press off retainer (6) using a suitable tool. Installation:  Replace locking element (6) and bushing (7).

5	Remove ignition switch cable (1) from the electronic selector lever module control unit (N15/5)	Press together retaining lug (1 b), press the coupling (1c) against the spring force into the electronic selector lever module control unit (N15/5), twist to the right or left though an angle of 90° (a) and detach cable of ignition lock (1).
6	Detach electrical plug (5) from electronic selector lever module control unit (N15/5)
7	Remove electronic selector lever module control unit (N15/5)	Remove bolts (2). Installation:  Check sealing (4) is in correct installation position and inspect for signs of damage, replace if necessary.	*BA27.60-P-1001-02A
8	Install in the reverse order
9	Set shift rod (8)		AR27.60-P-0980GM
