	Checking
		The seat belt and/or seat belt buckle must be replaced if damaged, not functioning correctly or defective. If the customer rejects replacement of a damaged seat belt or seat belt buckle, a corresponding remark should be made on the repair order.
1	Check belt strap along its entire length for damage	Pay particular attention to severed fibers, chafing marks and other damage.
2	Check belt strap along its entire length for twisting (arrow)	Remove any twisting.
3	Check locking function of inertia reel by pulling out belt strap abruptly	On seat belts with inertia reel
4	Check seat belt buckle for damage and correct latching of seat belt buckle tongue
