Location

The left multifunction steering wheel button group and the right multifunction steering wheel button group are located on the multifunction steering wheel (MFL).

Tasks

The multifunction steering wheel button groups receive the corresponding commands triggered by operating the individual buttons and pass them on.

The LIN converter (N135) reads in the signals for the multifunction steering wheel button groups voltage-coded and relays them to the steering column tube module (N80) via the local interconnect network (LIN).
