The input values are processed by the COMAND operating, display and controller unit.

Function 

When the control buttons of the COMAND operating, display and controller unit are pressed, this is read in and provided to the integrated central computer. The button actuations are processed further in the central computer and transferred to the other system components via the MOST or the interior CAN in the form of a message.

If the "ON" button on the COMAND operating, display and controller unit is pressed, the COMAND operating, display and controller unit is switched on or off. The volume is set using the "Volume adjustment" rotary switch for the audio source that is currently set. The user can switch to the required system component by pressing the menu buttons.

6-disk DVD changer 

The integrated 6-disk DVD changer can be used to play audio or video CDs and DVDs (including in MP3 format).
