MODIFICATION NOTES

8.1.04

Disconnect/connect/remove ground lead from battery

	Remove/Install
1	Switch off right luggage compartment lamp (E18/4) and left luggage compartment lamp (E18/5) by locking trunk lid lock with suitable screwdriver	Installation:  Actuate opening handle on outer trunk lid to unlock trunk lid lock
2	Remove right luggage compartment lamp (E18/4) and left luggage compartment lamp (E18/5)
3	Remove expansion rivets (3) and remove rear center section trim (1) from trunk
4	Install in the reverse order
