	Appears shortly after engine start or during warm-up phase of BSG (0...20 min).	As of Star Diagnosis version 03/2006, a flash solution to rectify the fault is available for BSG 1
	The fault code 9000 "control unit defective" is stored in the battery control unit.	(part no. A 211 540 13 45, A 211 540 27 45, A 211 540 42 45 and A 211 540 68 45). As a result, the BSG no longer needs to be replaced. Model 211.2:  The space available during installation is cramped due to the modified housing geometry of the battery control unit 2. Therefore an optimized replacement part solution for the battery control unit 2 is currently being worked on and this document will be published again once replacement parts become available.
