	Remove

1	Connect quiescent current retention unit		*WH58.30-Z-1012-09A
	Risk of explosion  caused by oxyhydrogen gas. Risk of poisoning and caustic burns  caused by swallowing battery acid. Risk of injury  caused by burns to skin and eyes from battery acid or when handling damaged lead-acid batteries	No fire, sparks, open flames or smoking. 2	Disconnect battery ground cable	Loosen battery.

3	Remove rear seat backrest
		Model 211.0 without  through-loading feature code 287.	AR91.12-P-1620T

4	Remove left and right door sill moldings	Depending on installation, 2-way at front only, or 4-way at front and rear.
5	Pull off rubber door seal near the B-pillar on both sides at the front
6	Remove paneling on B-pillar	Left and right paneling.

7	Open cable ducts on both sides of the vehicle at the front and rear
8.1	Remove side paneling in left side of trunk
		Model 211.0 without  through-loading feature code 287 and without  bivalent natural gas drive code 924.	AR68.30-P-4800T

8.2	Removing inside trim panel on side of cargo area

10	Open rear SAM
11	Remove rear seat side cushions
	Install
12	Connect wiring harness	Wiring harness for illuminated door sill molding.	AZ82.20-P-0001-02T
13	Carry out function check	By operating the door contact the door sill molding lights up but switches off again automatically after 5 minutes.
14	Install remaining parts onto vehicle	Steps 11 up to 1.
