1. Attach number punch guide to cross member below passenger seat. Move anvil into cross member (rear bench side).
2. Position window plate on cross member, fasten with mounting bolts.

The punch-in field is located in the front area of the cross member.

The cross member below the passenger seat consists of high tensile strength sheet metal. For this reason, use an appropriately heavy hammer when punching in the vehicle identification number. Punch with short, powerful hammer blows.
