	Remove/install
1.1	Remove rear section on bottom of soundproofing	Vehicles with diesel engines	AR94.30-P-5300T
2	Remove crossmember (35)		*BA62.30-P-1001-01A
3	Detach heat shields (105d, 105e) and slide back or remove	Depending on accessibility
4	Preload automatic slack adjuster (91)		AR42.20-P-0520-01A
5	Detach front brake cable (85) at automatic cable slack adjuster (91)	Installation:  to attach front brake cable (85): ↓
		Pre-tension automatic cable slack adjuster (91) again. Installation:  after attaching front brake cable (85): ↓	AR42.20-P-0520-01A
		Slacken automatic cable slack adjuster (91)	AR42.20-P-0520-02A
6	Remove retaining clip (85a) at propshaft tunnel	Installation:  Replace retaining clips (85a).
7	Unclip front brake cable (85) from bridge (70)		Figure
8	Remove front left floor covering		AR68.20-P-2050T
9	Remove retaining clip (85a) in driver footwell	Installation:  Replace retaining clips (85a).
10	Remove supporting wedge (17)
11	Detach front brake cable (85) from tensioning shackle (85b)	Installation:  Pay attention to the correct position of the rubber ring (85c) in the tensioning shackle (85b).
12	Unclip front brake cable (85) from pedal assembly (71)		Figure
13	Lever rubber grommet (85d) out of propshaft tunnel and pull front brake cable (85) into passenger compartment	Installation:  Feed the front brake cable (85) through from passenger compartment outwards.
14	Install in the reverse order
	Checking
15	Check pedal travel at parking brake pedal; adjust parking brake if necessary		AR42.20-P-0540T
