Detach wiring harness from connector.
Detach coupling (3) from connector.
Note color code of coupling in contact cavities.
The connection in the center console is made again after this has been performed.

Route wiring harness (1) along vehicle's wiring harness and into the front passenger footwell.

Unscrew securing bolts (7 and 8).
Route wiring harness (1) along the vehicle's own wiring harness into the stowage compartment.
Do not damage the wiring harness by squeezing or pinching it.

Route iPhone wiring harness to vehicle's own wiring harness and under the center console to the instrument panel, then fasten in place.
Route iPhone wiring harness further and under the glove box to the interface control unit (2).
Remove the iPhone wiring harness from the interface control unit (2) and tie up to one side.
Connect coupling (5) of iPhone wiring harness to the interface control unit.
Do not damage the wiring harness by squeezing or pinching it.
