Pressing out and attaching supporting joint at steering knuckle - AR33.20-P-0440-01VM

TORQUE SPECIFICATION WHEEL LOCATION, HUB

Pushing off 

  1. Unscrew self-locking nut from supporting joint (7) on steering knuckle (5).
  2. SPECIAL TOOL Attach thrust piece (07a).
  3. Use SPECIAL TOOL puller (07) to press out supporting joint (7).
  4. SPECIAL TOOL Remove puller (07) SPECIAL TOOL and thrust piece (07a).

    Install 

  5. Clean tapered connection.

    IMPORTANT The cone and thread must be free of grease and oil.

  6. Tighten self-locking nut on supporting joint TORQUE SPECIFICATION

    IMPORTANT Replace self-locking nut.
