Remove and install wiper arm - AR82.30-P-6100TX

1.7.08 Special tool added Step 4 Fig 2
REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
DANGER Risk of injury  caused by moving parts that can pinch, crush or, in extreme cases even sever extremities. Always remove ignition key when working on windshield wiper mechanism. AS82.30-Z-0001-01A
1 Bring wiper system into park position    
2.1 Switch off the ignition and remove the transmitter key from the EIS control unit On vehicles without code (889) Keyless Go  
2.2 Switch off ignition and place transmitter key out of transmission range of vehicle On vehicles with code (889) Keyless Go  
3 Open engine hood and raise to vertical position   AR88.40-P-1000TX
4.1 Unscrew nut (3) and remove driver-side wiper arm (1) INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Position the driver-side wiper arm (1) such that the wiper blade rests on the mark on the windshield.  
TORQUE SPECIFICATION *BA82.30-P-1001-01I 
SPECIAL TOOL Fig 2
4.2 Unscrew nuts (4) and remove passenger-side wiper arm (2) INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Position the passenger-side wiper arm (2) such that the wiper blade rests on the mark on the windshield.  
TORQUE SPECIFICATION *BA82.30-P-1001-01I 
SPECIAL TOOL Fig 2
5 Install in the reverse order
