Remove/install left front or right rpm sensor - AR42.30-P-0712TX

	Remove/install
1.1	Remove the front section of the lower engine compartment paneling	Vehicles with gasoline engine	AR61.20-P-1105TX
1.2	Remove front section of soundproofing bottom section	Vehicles with diesel engines	AR94.30-P-5300TX
2	Using a screwdriver, push detent (2) upwards and pull rpm sensor connector (signals) (X62) out of the bracket (1) in the direction of the arrow
3	Unplug rpm sensor connector (signals) (X62)
4	Unclip electric lead from retaining clamps	Ensure lines are installed correctly.
5	Unscrew bolt (6a)	Install new bolt (6a).

6	Pull rpm sensor (L6/1, L6/2) out of steering knuckle (5)	Pay attention to installation position. The chafe protection (3) must be mounted on  the front rpm sensor (L6/1, L6/2). It must not  be mounted between the rpm sensor (L6/1, L6/2) and steering knuckle (5), otherwise the rpm sensor (L6/1, L6/2) will not deliver an rpm signal.
7	Install in the reverse order
8	Read out diagnostic trouble code memory using STAR DIAGNOSIS and erase if necessary	STAR DIAGNOSIS, diagnosis system	*WH58.30-Z-1048-13A
