Remove/install front brake control cable - AR42.20-P-0520TX

	Remove/install
1	Raise vehicle with lifting platform		AR00.60-P-1000TX
2	Remove crossmember (35)		*BA62.30-P-1001-01C
3	Loosen and move heat shields (105d, 105e) or remove them	Depending on accessibility	AR49.00-P-1000-01TX
4	Unhook brake cable (85) from cable slack adjuster (91).	To do this, pre-tension automatic cable slack adjuster (91): ↓
		Preload automatic slack adjuster.	AR42.20-P-0520-01TX
		To attach brake cable (85): ↓
		Once again pre-tension automatic cable slack adjuster.	AR42.20-P-0520-01TX
		After attaching brake cable (85): ↓
		Relieve load on automatic slack adjuster.	AR42.20-P-0520-02TX
5	Remove retaining clips (85a) from propeller shaft tunnel	Replace retaining clips (85a).
6	Unclip brake cable (85) from bridge (70)		Figure
7	Remove front left floor covering
8	Remove retaining clips (85a) in footwell	Install new retaining clips (85a).
9	Remove supporting wedge (17)
10	Unhook brake cable (85) from tensioning shackle (85b).	Pay attention to the correct position of the rubber ring (85c) in the tensioning shackle (85b).
11	Unclip brake cable (85) from pedal assembly (71)
12	Lever rubber grommet (85d) out of propeller shaft tunnel and pull front brake cable (85) into passenger compartment.	Working from within the passenger compartment, push the brake cable (85) to the outside.
13	Install in the reverse order
	Checking
14	Check pedal travel at parking brake pedal; adjust parking brake if necessary		AR42.20-P-0540TX
