	Remove/Install
	Risk of injury in the form of trapping or crushing, or even severing of limbs, if caught in windshield wiper mechanism	Always remove ignition key when working on windshield wiper mechanism.	AS82.30-Z-0001-01A
1	Remove wiper arm on both sides		AR82.30-P-6100Q
2	Move engine hood to upright position		AR88.40-P-1000Q
3	Remove paneling on the outside of A-pillar on both sides	Loosen only around the water collector (7).
4	Remove trim panel (1) on left side
5	Remove line (2a) with bracket (2)
6.1	Remove line (3a) from bracket	Engines 112, 113, 612
7	Remove screws (4).
8	Pull off water drain hoses (5)
9	Remove seals (6)
10	Press water collector (7) off the windshield frame		Fig 3
11.1	Remove water collector (7) upwards and rotate	For CODE (581b) comfort automatic air conditioning
		Removal:  Do not remove coupling for CAAC multifunction sensor (B31).
		Installation:  Check and if necessary correct installation position of water drain hose (8).
11.2	Remove water collector (7) from vehicle	Except CODE (581b) comfort automatic air conditioning
		Installation:  Check and if necessary correct installation position of water drain hose (8).
12.1	Unscrew screws (9)	For CODE (581b) comfort automatic air conditioning
13.1	Remove C-AAC multifunction sensor (B31)	For CODE (581b) comfort automatic air conditioning
14.1	Remove water collector (7) from vehicle	For CODE (581b) comfort automatic air conditioning
15	Install in the reverse order
