Prepare wheel well for installation - AR62.20-P-1200-19CWA

Dimension: 

IMPORTANT The following operation steps are shown on component for model 204.0.

  1. Scribe separating point on front wheel well (1) (area A).

    IMPORTANT Separation point is only needed at left front wheel well (1).

  2. Cut front wheel well (1) at separating point (area A).

    IMPORTANT Separation point is only needed at left front wheel well (1).

  3. Grind mating surfaces on front wheel well (1) down to bare metal in crosshatched areas (areas F and G).

    NOTES Do not coat bonding surfaces with zinc dust paint to prevent adhesion problems (areas F and G).

    IMPORTANT Observe pretreatment of bonding surfaces.

  4. Grind mating surfaces on front wheel well (1) down to bare metal in cross-hatched areas.

    IMPORTANT Grind spot weld flanges down to bare metal on both sides.

  5. Coat insides of spot weld flanges with zinc dust paint.

  6. Grind mating surfaces on crossmember (3) down to bare metal in cross-hatched areas.

    NOTES Do not coat bonding surfaces with zinc dust paint to prevent adhesion problems (area B).

    IMPORTANT Observe pretreatment of bonding surfaces.

    IMPORTANT Grind spot weld flanges down to bare metal on both sides.

  7. Punch Ø 6 mm hole on crossmember (3) (area B1 ).
