Installing and connecting additional fan - SM82.00-P-0001-01A

Connect the additional fan with bracket (3) to the removed tray (7).

Additional fan with bracket (3) must latch into the tray (7) on the sides and at the top (see arrows).

The brown line (5) from the additional fan with bracket is connected to the vehicle's own brown line in the pin socket housing (4), pin 8.
The black line (6) from the additional fan with bracket is connected to the vehicle's own black line in the pin socket housing (4), pin 5.
The pin socket housing (4) is the coupling A of the radio.

Unwind the felt tape from the wiring harness of the pin socket housing (4).
Cut off the brown line (5) from the pin socket housing (4) at dimension (a) and strip the insulation off the wire end.
Strip the insulation off the wire end from the vehicle's own wiring harness, brown line (11).
Cut off the black line (6) from the pin socket housing (4) at dimension (a) and strip the insulation off the wire end.
Strip the insulation off the wire end from the vehicle's own wiring harness, black line (10).

Connect brown line (2) from the additional fan with bracket to the brown line (5) from the pin socket housing (4) and brown line (11) from the vehicle's own wiring harness via a soldered connector (9).
Connect black line (1) from the additional fan with bracket to the black line (6) from the pin socket housing (4) and black line (10) from the vehicle's own wiring harness via a soldered connector (9).
Wrap felt tape around the wiring harness and soldered connector.

Reinstall the tray with additional fan (8) in the center console (12).
The cable must not be pinched when pushing in the tray with additional fan (8).
