Disconnect ground line of battery, removed Step 2

	Remove/install
1.1	Transfer basic data from overhead control panel control unit (N70) to STAR DIAGNOSIS	When installing new overhead control panel control unit (N70). Installation:  Transfer buffered basic data to new overhead control panel control unit (N70), and for code (414) Tilting/sliding roof, normalize the anti-pinch protection.
	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory		AD00.00-P-2000-04A
		STAR DIAGNOSIS system	*WH58.30-Z-1048-13A
2	Remove transmitter key from electronic ignition switch control unit
3	Pry off lens (1) from overhead control panel control unit (N70)	Risk of cracks and fracture to headliner and overhead control panel control unit (N70).
		Mounting wedge	Fig 2
4	Press overhead control panel control unit (N70) release (2)	Press in direction of arrow.
5	Remove the overhead control panel control unit (N70)	Installation:  Excess pressure and tensile stress on the roof switch will damage the overhead control panel control unit (N70)
6	Disconnect connectors from overhead control panel control unit (N70)
7	Install in the reverse order
8.1	Normalize tilting/sliding roof	For vehicles with code (414) Tilting/sliding roof
9	Read fault memory, erase if necessary
	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory		AD00.00-P-2000-04A
		STAR DIAGNOSIS system	*WH58.30-Z-1048-13A
