Remove/install bulbs of headlamp unit - AR82.10-P-1201QA

MODEL 209 up to 16.5.05 with CODE (614) Bi-xenon headlamp unit

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install    
DANGER Risk of death  caused by high voltage levels present at xenon headlamps.
Risk of explosion/fire hazard  due to highly flammable substances in the area of damaged xenon bulbs
Risk of injury  due to UV light, hot components on xenon headlamps and glass splinters when xenon bulbs burst
Risk of poisoning  caused by inhalation of mercury vapors and by toxic salts and mercury compounds being ingested or coming into contact with skin
Do not come into contact with parts that are under high voltage. Persons with active electronic implants  (e.g. heart pacemakers) must never work on xenon headlamps. Switch off entire lighting system. Wear insulated safety shoes, safety glasses and protective gloves. Remove highly inflammable materials from the hazard area. Ensure sufficient ventilation in the working area. AS82.10-Z-0001-01A
1 Switch off the ignition and remove the transmitter key from the EIS control unit    
2 Open engine hood and secure against falling down   AR88.40-P-1000Q
3 Turn housing cover (low beam) (3) from left/right front lamp unit (E1/E2) to left and remove IMPORTANT Left/right low beam (E1e2/E2e2).
IMPORTANTInstallation:  Ensure that housing cover (low beam) (3) is properly seated.
 
4 Turn electrical connector (1) on left/right low beam (E1e2/E2e2) to left and remove    
5 Turn retaining collar (4) to left and remove together with left/right low beam (E1e2/E2e2) IMPORTANT Left/right low beam (E1e2/E2e2) can be replaced separately.  
6 Turn housing cover (high beam, standing and parking lights) (2) from left/right front lamp unit (E1/E2) to left and remove IMPORTANT Lamp socket (standing and parking lights) (5), left/right standing and parking lights (E1e3/E2e3), left/right high beam (E1e1/E2e1).
IMPORTANTInstallation:  Ensure the housing cover (high beam, standing and parking lights) (2) is seated correctly.
 
7 Undo bolts for socket of left/right high beam (E1e1/E2e1) IMPORTANT Left/right high beam (E1e1/E2e1).  
8 Turn electrical connector and socket of left/right high beam (E1e1/E2e1) simultaneously to the left and remove    
9 Pull out lamp socket (standing and parking lights) (5) with left/right standing and parking lights (E1e3/E2e3) IMPORTANT Left/right standing and parking lights (E1e3/E2e3).  
10 Turn lamp bayonet ring (6) of turn signal light from left/right front lamp unit (E1/E2) to the left and pull out with left/right turn signal light (E1e5/E2e5) IMPORTANT Left/right turn signal light (E1e5/E2e5).  
11 Remove bulb NOTESInstallation:  Do not touch the glass bulbs with bare hands. Use a soft cloth free of grease and pay attention to correct installation position. Otherwise, the deposits that develop can reduce the light output of the reflector.  
12 Install in the reverse order    
13 Perform a function test
