Location
The steering angle sensor is integrated in the steering column module (N80).
Task
The steering angle sensor records the current position of the steering wheel and makes available to the steering column module an electrical voltage signal proportional to the steering lock angle.
The steering column module conveys the data to the ESP control unit (N47-5) via the chassis CAN.
