Function requirements

Circuit 15R ON or
Run-on time active (up to 5 min. after circuit 15R OFF, when front doors have not yet been opened)
Tilting/sliding roof (SR) normalized

Function

The SR can be opened or closed manually or automatically via the roof switch in the overhead control panel control unit.

The following operations are possible:

Open/close sliding roof
Open/close tilting roof

Manual opening/closing function

Actuate roof system switch to 1st notch and hold down until desired position is reached.

Automatic open/close function

Actuate roof system switch beyond 1st catch. Adjustment is now accomplished automatically to the corresponding limit stop or the last position stored.

If the roof switch is actuated again during automatic opening, the adjustment is stopped immediately and the present position of the tilting/sliding roof is stored.

Position measurement

The signals from the roof system Hall sensor 1 (M12b1) and roof system Hal sensor 2 (M12b2) in the drive unit are read in and evaluated by the overhead control panel control unit for determination of the position.

Obstruction protection

The obstruction sensor is active only during automatic closing.
