Location 

The seat belt buckle switches are integrated in the relevant seat belt buckle.

Task 

The seat belt buckle switches monitor the insertion of the belt latch into the seat belt buckles.

The driver and front passenger seat belt buckle switches are directly read in by the restraint system control unit (N2/7).

The rear seat belt buckle switches are read in by the rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2) and transmitted to the restraint system control unit via the central gateway control unit (N93).
