Location
The coolant circulation pump is centrally located in the radiator tank.
Task
The coolant circulation pump is used:
- with the engine running for support or
- with the residual engine heat utilization system active or
- with the stationary heater mode active (for code (228) Stationary heater)
to deliver coolant through the heater heat exchanger.
Function
The coolant circulation pump is actuated by the front SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1) when requested by the AAC [KLA] control unit (N22/1).
