1	Remove trim in trunk	It is not necessary to remove the left lining in the trunk.	AR68.30-P-4600SX
2	Disconnect rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module and pull backwards	Do not disconnect electrical lines.	AR54.21-P-1258SX
3	Disconnect on-board electrical system battery	Vehicles up to 1.6.08 without code (809) Model year 2009	AR54.10-P-0009SX
4	Remove front seats		AR91.10-P-1000SC
5	Remove rear seat cushion		AR91.12-P-1020SC
6	Remove rear seat backrest		AR91.12-P-1620SC
7	Remove insulation mat under rear seat
8	Remove standard inner door sill molding on left and right	The inner door sill moldings are discontinued parts. They are replaced with the illuminated door sill moldings (3).
9	Remove side paneling in rear		AR68.30-P-4780SC
	Install
10	Retrofit wiring harness for illuminated door sills		AZ82.20-P-0001-04SCA
11	Install remaining parts	Replace the non-illuminated door sill moldings with the illuminated door sill moldings (3). Wrap felt tape around connectors of illuminated door sill moldings (3) and route below floor covering.
12	Retrofit outer door sills		AZ68.30-P-0005-01SCA
12	Retrofit outer door sills	Cleaner	*BR00.45-Z-1025-04A
13	Document retrofitted equipment via vehicle documentation (VeDoc)	Attach "Illuminated door sill moldings retrofitted as per AZ82.20-P-0001SCA " note under field organization texts to DG 82.
14	Carry out function check	The illuminated door sill molding (3) is activated for approx. 5 min by opening the corresponding door.
