REMOVING Removing     
DANGER Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform. Align vehicle between the columns of the lifting platform and position the four support plates at the lifting platform support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer. AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
NOTES Notes on self-locking nuts and bolts All models AH00.00-N-0001-01A
NOTES While working on the rear axle, care must be taken to ensure that the surface of aluminum components do not get any scratches, cracks and notches. Otherwise the service life of the parts will be affected

2 Remove rear-axle shaft (37) Model 203.035 /045 /061 /081 /084 /087 /092 /235 /245 /261 /281 /284 /287 /292 /735 /745 /747,
Model 203.004 /204 except Taxi version, code 450,
Model 209.3 /4 with rear axle differential (50) ø 187 mm, rear axle differential (50) ø 210 mm in rear axle differential (50) 210E,
Model 209.365 /465 with rear axle differential (50) ø 198 mm		 AR35.30-P-0620P

3 Use a suitable tool to lever radial sealing ring (32) out of rear axle differential (50)    
INSTALLING Install     
4 Press new radial sealing ring (32) into rear axle differential (50) using drift (049b) IMPORTANT Coat lip at radial sealing ring (32) with universal hypoid gear oil.
IMPORTANT Except rear axle differential dia. 187 mm:

REFER TO CAPACITIES & SPECIFICATIONS Universal hypoid gear oils (SAE 85 W-90) Sheet 235.7 BB00.40-P-0235-07A
5 Install new circlip (37o) on inner splined shaft of rear axle shaft (37)    
6 Install rear axle shaft (37). Model 203.035 /045 /061 /081 /084 /087 /092/235 /245 /261 /281 /284 /287 /292 /735 /745 /747,
Model 203.004 /204 except Taxi version, code 450,
Model 209.3 /4 with rear axle differential (50) ø 187 mm, rear axle differential (50) ø 210 mm in rear axle differential (50) 210E,
Model 209.365 /465 with rear axle differential (50) ø 198 mm		 AR35.30-P-0620P

7 Check oil level in rear axle differential (50) and correct if necessary IMPORTANT Mixing of old universal hypoid gear oil and the new FE hypoid gear oil should be avoided due to the better fuel economy. AR35.31-P-0520-03I
