Damage code	Cause	Remedy
0505036 Camshaft adjuster, intake 0505236 Camshaft adjuster Outlet	Locking clearance on camshaft adjuster too large. This is caused by deviation in the position and diameter of the locking hole in the impeller (see figure).	A short noise (max. 2 s) after starting cold and longer off periods is no reason for complaint because the engine oil runs completely out of the camshaft adjusters. Install camshaft adjuster with limited clearance (modified parts are marked with color coding).
		1 Remove/install/replace camshaft adjuster. Replace central bolts (2). Oil thread when installing.	AR05.20-P-7201QK
