Retrofit AMG rear spoiler - AZ88.50-P-0001-01B

IMPORTANT The area on the trunk lid to be glued must be free of dust and grease. To clean use a 50 : 50 mixture of IPA (iso-propanol alcohol) and water.

IMPORTANT The maximum adhesive force is reached after approx. 72 hours at 20 °C!

Avoid any contact with moisture (e.g. rain, fog, carwash) within the first 24 hours.

Prevent any mechanical stress.

Preparations for installation 

  1. Determine the position for the rear spoiler, making sure that the distance to the outside edge of the trunk lid is constant (see arrow).
  2. Pull off protective foil for a length of approx. 100 mm on the left side.

  3. Attaching rear spoiler 

  4. Align the rear spoiler with respect to the outside edge of the trunk lid and position with the exposed foil.
  5. Lift rear spoiler slightly and pull out protective foil gradually in steps of 15 - 20 cm.

    NOTESDo not pull off all the foil at once.

    NOTESAfter positioning, the rear spoiler must be pressed down firmly along the entire bonding surface! 

    IMPORTANT When pressing on ensure that the pressure is applied directly on the adhesive tape.
