The detailed maintenance and oil change regulations can be found in the maintenance booklet for the respective vehicle/major assembly.
- Only to be used in exceptional circumstances if no engine oil as per sheet 225.8, or 225.10 available.
- Only to be used in exceptional circumstances, if no engine oil as per Sheet 225.6 available.
- Usage depends on the respective engine model, the application, the manufacturing location and the usage period. Information about the type of oil to use can be requested from EP/MOR.
- Exceptions for AMG engines only oil from DBL 6674.32/.33..
- Exception for smart diesel engine OM 660 only oil from DBL 6674.32.
- Use in combination with low-sulfur (S < 50 ppm) or sulfur-free (S < 10 ppm) fuel! If fuels with sulfur contents of S> 500 ppm are being used, the oil change intervals must be reduced!
