	Removing/installing
	Risk of injury  caused by fingers being jammed or pinched  when removing, installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lid/ rear-end door or sliding roof.	When moving components, ensure that no body parts or limbs are within the operating range of moving parts.	AS00.00-Z-0011-01A

1	Turn key in ignition switch to position "0".
2	Open engine hood and raise to vertical position	Model 203	AR88.40-P-1000P
		Model 209	AR88.40-P-1000Q
3	Remove air filter housing (1).		AR09.10-P-1150QB
4	Remove the electrical connector (2) at the hot film mass air flow sensor (B2/5)
5	Disengage the right notch (3a) of the hot film mass air flow sensor (B2/5) at the resonance intake manifold (4)	Pull the right notch (3a) upwards while doing this until the it can no longer latch on the resonance intake manifold (4).
6	Unlatch left notch (3b) for hot film MAF sensor (B2/5) on resonance intake manifold (4) and tip hot film MAF sensor (B2/5) somewhat to the rear	Do not the damage the grid (A) in the process as it cannot be replaced separately!
7	Disengage the spring steel sheet (5) and remove the hot film mass air flow sensor (B2/5) from the air duct housing (6)	Do not deform the spring steel sheet (5) in the process permanently; it will not get locked properly at the hot film mass air flow sensor (B2/5) during installation.
	Check
8	Check seal (7) between air duct housing (6) and hot film MAF sensor (B2/5) for damage; replace if necessary
9	Check right notch (3a), left notch (3b) and spring steel sheet (5) for damage; replace if necessary
10	Install in reverse order
11	Read out fault memory	STAR DIAGNOSIS diagnosis system	*WH58.30-Z-1048-13A
	Connect up STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory		AD00.00-P-2000-04A
