P2073-[4] Interruption (-) | |
| 2 | Fault storage | After expiry of test duration and fault |
| Activation of the engine diagnosis indicator lamp (EURO3/4) or CHECK ENGINE (MIL) malfunction indicator lamp |
No activation | |
| 3 | Checking frequency | Continuous |
| 4 | Checked signal or status | PWM signal actuation and voltage supply for electric suction fan. |
| 5 | Fault setting conditions | |
| Short circuit to positive | Fault if the duty cycle is greater than 90 %. | |
| Short circuit to ground | Fault if the duty cycle is lower than 10 %. | |
| Interruption | PWM signal actuation missing. Voltage supply (circuit 30) to electric suction fan interrupted. | |
| 6 | Check prerequisites | Battery voltage between 8 and 17 V |
| 7 | In the event of a fault, the output stage is locked or switched for further troubleshooting. A short circuit to ground and a line interruption will be detected when the output stages are locked, while a short-circuit to positive is detected when the output stages are conducting.
The suction fan is actuated via the suction fan control unit or via integrated control at the suction fan. Pay attention to the variant coding of the AAC or comfort AAC control and operating units. |
